I started this journey after I had my daughter in my local hospital (Clearly it was not my favorite). Not long after, I got pregnant with my first son. I found a midwife and had a homebirth. It was beautiful, wonderful, and I had never felt so close to God. After that wonderful expeirence I got pregnant with my second son and had another beautiful homebirth. I knew after my first homebirth that this field of work was my calling. I am now a doula and student midwife serving my local Kentucky community. I thank the Lord everyday that I am able to help others have their dream birth.
